A Thoughtful Approach to Healing & Growth

Compassionate, professional therapy with Wendy Hawkins

Hello, I’m Wendy.

For over three decades, I have worked in healthcare and mental health, supporting individuals through life’s most difficult challenges like anxiety, depression, chronic pain and illness, grief, traumatic grief, burnout, past & current trauma, complex trauma and major life changes.

Life can be unpredictable and these challenges can feel difficult to process. In my practice, I offer a space where you can navigate these experiences with support, understanding, and proven therapeutic methods.

With a background in nursing and psychotherapy, I integrate various evidence-based approaches, including Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, to help clients address trauma and emotional distress. I have found that these approaches may successfully treat conditions that traditional talk therapy has previously been unable to address. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), strength-based, interpersonal, and mindfulness models in my practice.

Every person’s journey is different, and therapy should reflect that. My role is to provide guidance and tools tailored to your unique needs, helping you regain a sense of clarity and emotional resilience.

Healing takes time and you don’t have to do it alone. Whether you’re seeking help for past trauma, ongoing stress, or relationship difficulties, we will work together to develop a plan that supports your well-being.
